FAQ

What is CBD? (Cannabidiol)

CBD is one of many compounds, known as cannabinoids, in the cannabis plant. Unlike THC, it is not psychoactive. This means that CBD does not change a person's state of mind when they use it.

Hemp contains most of the CBD that people use medicinally. All cannabinoids, including CBD, produce effects in the body by attaching to certain receptors.

Specifically, the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the brain. These 2 receptors affect coordination and movement, pain, emotions, mood, thinking, appetite, memories, and other functions.

Is your Hemp and CBD Oil legal?

Yes, with the passing and signing of the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp is now legal in all 50 states. It is organically grown and non-psychoactive so it will not get you "high". Our products contain zero Delta 9 THC or <0.3 %.

What's the difference between Hemp and Marijuana?

Although both part of the Cannabis Sativa family, Hemp contains <0.3% Delta 9 THC (the chemical that gets you high), whereas Marijuana contains high amounts and is psychoactive. Hemp also contains more of the medicinal benefits.

    Is CBD safe?

Yes. It is considered to be safe and non-toxic for humans and animals to take.

How much CBD do I need?

Each body reacts differently to CBD. Some people are sensitive and need very little, while some don’t feel effects even with large dosages. Each person is unique, and you need to find your own sweet spot.

Remember, always start with low dosages first, and work yourself up slowly. Let your physician know before you start taking CBD products, especially if you suffer from chronic illness and take medication.

How long does it take to work?

Inhaling (smoking) Hemp is the quickest method of absorption, but it also does not last as long. Taking CBD sublingually (under the tongue) is the second fastest. Edibles such as gummies or soft gels take the longest, but the effects typically last longer as they must pass through the digestive system.

    Can CBD help my Pet?

Yes, your pet can reap the same benefits! It is safe and effective for degenerative issues of aging pets, as well as anxiety, stress or behavioral issues in young, healthy animals.

    What is Full Spectrum?

The entire range of chemical compounds or constituents that are naturally occurring in a certain part of a particular species of plant which makes it more effective.

Will I fail a Drug Test?

Well, we can only speak to our products as we don't know what you do recreationally. However, taking our tinctures and flower that are NOT Zero THC may cause one to fail a drug test.
